Addiction does not happen in a vacuum. One addicted person affects a minimum of 10 people around them. The family needs as much help and support as the addicted loved one does. The place most people start is education.
The Registered Therapeutic Counsellors that facilitate Heart of the Family - Core Education are addiction experts. They have more than 10 years of professional experience and more than 25 years of lived experience. They have built Heart of the Family based on all the lessons they wish they knew when they were in the vortex of addiction with their loved ones. They recognize the challenges and emotional strength it takes to support your loved one toward recovery and they do so in a way that is empathetic, gentle, and respectful.
Heart of the Family is a 4-hour family education group that gives you proven methods and strategies to help your addicted loved one move toward recovery. The class is packed full of information and discussion and questions are encouraged.
